Development
- To create a speedy, safe and economical transport and
communications between Bangar / Bandar Seri Begawan via sea, river,
land and air.
- As a main corridor for Pan Highway Borneo.
- To upgrade Bangar Town as a municipality.
- To construct hotel, motel, chalet, modern shopping centres and
public conveniences.
- To beautify the Bangar Waterfront and night open market.
- To improve the landscape of Pekan Bangar as environmental
friendly.
- To establish venue for regional and international conference
particularly on Tropical Rain Forest.
Social Welfare
- Better housing and land ownership.
- Modern hospital with its own operation theatre and paramedic.
- To establish higher education institutions.
- Better communication such as mobile and telephones on remote
areas.
- Sufficient supply of fresh water and electricity.
Economy
- Better job opportunities for local people by opening more
industries, e.g. quarries, handicraft, farming.
- To provide more cheap and modern shopping complex for the locals.
- To promote Temburong's delights : fresh water prawns (udang galah)
and Kuih Wajid (Glutinous rice cake).

- Continuous and concerted efforts on road safety.
- Concerted efforts in preventing crimes.
- Enforcement of illegal immigrants, importation of unlawful meats
and chickens.
- Concerted effort on monitoring of political, social and religious
gatherings.
